Length varies slightly by style, however they are generally approximately 11-12 inches long. Generally they can be used from age 0-7. Obviously when a baby uses them they cover the entire leg. As the child gets older, not so much.

I will know in about 3 days what we are having. If we have a boy I want the polka dot one. Do u have any girl ones? I couldn't find any. Also I will order for sure if it is a boy. I think they are so cute.
